Your Tasks
- Schedule adherence, identify slippages and discuss countermeasures with site manager/ Sheet Metal superintendent & process area managers
- Monitor schedule % complete and report back to Southfield schedule group via site manager
- Maintain an open issues log for all internal problems and subcontractors
- Durr Electrical Sub-contractor installation co-ordination
- Manage any subcontractor claims, keep Senior Project Manager informed of any potential claims
- Change Management control during installation phase with customers electrical counterpart ie any requested scope of work changes, inform Senior Project Manager of such changes
- Ensure safe working areas, work closely with Durr site safety manager and adhere to Toyota / Durr safety polies
- Obtain OSHA 30 qualification
- Co-ordinate timing and interfaces, where applicable, with Customers vendors
- Attend daily sub-contractor (weekly at present) coordination meetings chaired by the site manager
- Identify and address any quality concerns with the responsible subcontractor to the site manager and Senior Project Manager
Your Skills
- Electrical engineering degree or related degree preferred
- 5 or more years of experience
- Experience with SAP preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and Outlook
- Good time management skills
- Good organizational skills
- Good verbal communication skills
- Good written communication skills
- Able to work well independently and in a team environment
- Adaptable to change in a learning environment
- Self-starter capable of executing assigned tasks and solving problems in a diplomatic and professional manner
- Willing and able to work overtime, weekends, and holidays when necessary
