Software Compliance Analyst

This position will be responsible for managing IT software asset management function including software compliance, license management, maintaining accurate view of software compliance risk and participate in internal software license audits.

You Will:

  • Provide assistance in setting up and enforcing the software compliance process

  • Ensure adherence to SAM policies and procedures throughout the enterprise by conducting regular internal software audits/ evaluations

  • Help increasing the coverage of inventoried IT hardware assets

  • Maintain the software request process to approve, deploy, update, and remove software products from systems and serves

  • Optimize of existing software asset processes

  • Realize opportunities for asset optimization and ensure mitigation of risks associated with IT Software assets

  • Work on Audit processes and set up mechanism to track the unapproved/ unlicensed softwares and work on de-install project appropriately

  • Manage software black and whitelist

  • Verify the software recognition rules

  • Assist in blocking of blacklisted software

  • Administer the central inventory tool - Snow Inventory Manager

  • Develop ideas regarding automation in described environment

Who You Are:

  • Experienced in Software Compliance or License Management with at least 3 years of proven expertise with large multi-national organization

  • Have a formal education in the IT, ASM/ CSM certifications are a plus but not mandetory

  • Have hands-on experience on Snow License Manager or Flexera

  • Are engaged and motivated, yet goal-oriented and self-organized

  • Have the ability to research and learn new technology independently

  • Ability to communicate clearly and work as part of a team in a disciplined and fun manner

  • Communicate fluently in English

  • Experienced in IT Asset Management processes good to have

  • Good to have: Experience of well-known hardware discovery/inventory tools

  • Tools/Environment Experience
