Christmas donation of the Dürr Group: 65,000 euros for social projects in Germany, India, and Vietnam

Bietigheim-Bissingen, December 9, 2025 — The Dürr Group is once again supporting the work of various charitable organizations at Christmas time with a total of 65,000 euros. Of this, 40,000 euros will go to UNICEF for children’s aid projects in India and Vietnam. Aktion Mensch, an organization that promotes an inclusive society throughout Germany, will receive 20,000 euros. The “Aktion Weihnachten” Christmas campaign of the Stuttgarter Nachrichten newspaper will be supported with 5,000 euros. The charity campaign helps people in the Stuttgart region who are facing social hardship. The Dürr Group is thus remaining true to the motto “Donations instead of gifts”, and is once again foregoing Christmas presents for customers and business partners.

Dr. Jochen Weyrauch, CEO of Dürr AG: “As an internationally operating company, we see it as part of our social responsibility to support social projects at home and abroad. We want to contribute to better educational opportunities for children and help people who are experiencing social hardship due to personal tragedy.”

About UNICEF
UNICEF is active in over 190 countries worldwide. For more than 75 years, the United Nations Children’s Fund has been using effective programs and political work to ensure that children are well cared for, can go to school and are protected from violence. One part of the Dürr Group’s donation will be used for an educational program for girls in India, who will receive targeted support in acquiring science-related and digital skills through gender-equitable teaching in order to pave their way into technical professions. With the other part, support will continue for a project in which families in rural Vietnam gain access to clean drinking water through solar-powered water supply systems.

About the “Aktion Weihnachten” Christmas campaign
The charity campaign of the Stuttgarter Nachrichten newspaper supports people from the Stuttgart region who are experiencing social hardship due to illness, unemployment, or family problems. It also supports selected local initiatives, such as the Stuttgart Children’s and Youth Hospice.
